Join us as we continue share our excitement of STEM education…The DIG STEM Festival is a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
in rural communities. The festival is an outdoor event that provides an opportunity for engagement and exchange between children, teens, families, and STEM professionals.

 

The event showcases a multitude of local exhibitors who will provide hands-on activities, live performances, interactive demonstrations, and family-oriented STEM entertainment. The goal of the event is to increase awareness of the role of STEM in society while conveying the importance of STEM knowledge and skills in everyday life. The event’s hands-on experiments and exhibits will nurture the students’ curiosity about STEM as well as engage parents. This annual event provides opportunities for parents to learn the importance of STEM in their kid’s lives and the possibility of STEM careers and training for themselves. DIG is committed to providing educational and inspirational offerings to rural communities at little to no charge in order to engage the largest possible audience, especially under-served populations.

Our DIG STEM Festival has attracted approximately 4,000 spectators, and showed success amongst our spectators and exhibitors with 100% of exhibitors and spectators stating that they were very satisfied with the festival. We are scheduled to host the 2024 DIG STEM Festival on Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Williston, SC.
