DIG Founder Steven Brown Selected for Launch Carolinas Leadership Accelerator Cohort 2

Another exciting chapter of growth is underway for DIG.

Steven Brown, Founder and CEO of Dreams, Imagination, & Gift Development Program (DIG), has been selected as one of 12 nonprofit leaders from across North and South Carolina to participate in Cohort 2 of the Launch Carolinas Leadership Accelerator Program.

The selection places Steven among a regional cohort of nonprofit executives chosen for a multiyear experience focused on leadership development, organizational growth, and building stronger connections within the philanthropic community.

For Steven, the opportunity builds on more than a decade of leading DIG’s work in rural communities. For DIG, it brings the organization into a network of nonprofit and philanthropic leaders working to strengthen communities throughout the Carolinas.

Launch Carolinas combines leadership development, peer learning, strategic relationships, and organizational investment. Participating leaders and organizations receive up to $185,000 in financial support over four years, along with opportunities to build relationships and strengthen the organizations they lead.

Steven’s selection comes at an important time for DIG. As the organization continues expanding STEMM education, career development, mentorship, and community engagement across rural South Carolina, the experience and relationships developed through Launch Carolinas can support the infrastructure behind that growth.

From Williston, South Carolina, Steven joins nonprofit leaders addressing education, health, economic opportunity, and other community priorities throughout North and South Carolina.
