Volunteer

Become a volunteer

We personally encourage you to become a volunteer. There are many rural community youth who need someone in their life to help them succeed. I know there are many important things that you can spend your time on, but one hour a week or month could change someones life forever. If you are concerned about the time commitment of our programs I assure you that the reward is worth the commitment, but due to the demand of most professionals like yourself we’ve developed programs that utilize virtual communication. Virtual communication is a more effective means to expand voulunteer opportunities to individuals outside of the communities DIG serves. Opportunities include tutoring, community service, mentoring, executive board, etc.

Enclosed you will find an application, training material, code of ethics, and a description of the Mentoring Program. Please take the time to review the material. If you would like more information on volunteering for this program please feel free to contact us. Thanks for your time and we look forward to your commitment to helping us DIG deep!
